Job Overview:

Dependable Health Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse/RN to join our team of professionals. As a Registered Nurse/RN (Home Health), you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, perform assessments, develop care plans, and manage patient care in accordance with physician orders. You will also coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and their families about their health conditions, medications, and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial in-home assessments of patients and develops comprehensive care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.

• Administers medications, wound care, and other treatments prescribed by physicians.

• Educates patients and their families about healthcare needs, treatment options, and medication management.

• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals, including therapists and social workers, to coordinate patient care.

• Monitor patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.• Document patient care in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Current valid Nevada licensure as a Registered Nurse

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse/RN in home health or hospice care preferred

• Current BLS certification

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize patient care needs

• Basic computer literacy and ability to work with electronic medical records
